Library Catalog/OhioLINK

Use the Case library catalog to find books, journals, films, music etc  in either  print and electronic format. The Case catalog covers holdings in the following libraries:

Case Campus Libraries

  • Kelvin Smith Library
  • Health Center Library
  • Law Library
  • Harris Library

Case Affiliated Libraries

  • CIA
  • CIM

Important tips:

  • You can search by author, title, subject, key word and more.
  • All electronic resources listed in the catalog contain a web link to the resource.  REMEMBER TO HAVE THE VPN software installed on your computer and be logged in so that you can access the full text of these resources.  If you are not sure, look for the red/green button on the KSL home page. Green tells you that you are connected to the network and red means that you must log in to VPN.
  • If you do not find what you need in the Case catalog -  try OhioLINK catalog.

Students, faculty, staff, and card holders from participating public libraries can use the OhioLINK Library Catalog to find and request materials online, then pick them up about one week later at the participating library of their choice. Users can renew books online and keep them for up to 15 weeks.

Find Print Books and Journals

Books and some journals are available in print format. Books are shelved by the Library of Congress call number system.

Look for the call number ( a combination of letters and numbers) on the spine of the book. Once you know the call number you can go to the correct place on the shelf and find the book.

Example :  Catalog record for a book owned by Kelvin Smith Library:

Journal volumes do not have call numbers. They are shelved alphabetically by the title of the journal.

For example: Journal of Marketing Studies will be shelved in the J's area on the first floor of KSL.
