Printing at the Freedman Center

What happens during an appointment?

Appointments offer a chance for patrons to have their posters reviewed by our staff prior to the printing of the final copy.  All appointments are one hour long and include a staff review of your poster via a draft print.  Once suggestions have been made, the patron will have time to make corrections to their poster.  Should there be enough time left in the appointment, the final version of the poster will be printed during the appointment.  If the poster is not ready to be printed at the end of the hour it will be treated as a drop off  and the turn around time will be the normal 48 hours unless you pay the rush fee. To see the prices click here and to see what the rush fee entails click here.

Making an appointment

Appointments can be made through our online calendar.  Green boxes indicate open times for printing appointments, red boxes indicate booked times, and blue boxes indicate that there is not appointment signup slot open during that time.

Appointments must be scheduled in advance and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis only.  Walk-in and same day appointments will not be accommodated.

Appointments accommodate one poster each.  Patrons who bring multiple posters to appointments will be asked to use our drop-off service for all but one.  The patron whose name appears on the appointment must be present for the appointment.   Lamination and mounting are not available during appointments.

NOTE: It is recommended that patrons bring in a .pdf or .pptx file for review.
