Resources and methods useful for CC topics

The following resources will be particularly helpful for finding topics and narrowing topics for those of you in First Seminar sections using the Common Curriculum, and topics dealing with the brain/mind, as related to the Oliver Sacks book An Anthropologist on Mars.

The first four are examples of reference sources, which will provide excellent, authoritative information to give you context for your individual topic.  They will also provide you in many cases with basic factual or statistical information that you can cite in your own paper.  Finally, each provides excellent bibliographies that will lead you to other resources on the topic.

The final is a reminder about how to use Academic Search Complete in ways that will help when you are starting on your paper.
