Class Homework Asignment

There are a number of societal, practical, geographical, financial, and technical challenges to moving forward with solar energy. Considering what we've read and discussed in class, which obstacle is the most significant in preventing us from fully utilizing solar power? While this essay could focus on a societal aspect or a technical aspect, either approach will require you to discuss the current state of silicon-based solar cells in relationship to your claim. The thesis should clearly state what you believe the current most significant challenge is and why, drawing on appropriate texts from class and from your own research to support and justify your argument.
