If you are not along the path of totality, the map will provide helpful information such as the timing of partial phases, and the maximum obscuration you can expect. The example below is for the John Glenn Astronomy Park located in Logan, Ohio (near Hocking Hills). The JGAP will only see 97.873% percent coverage:
