Session 4: Engaging with Digital Scholarship

Course Description

  • Digital scholarship entails using digital tools and technologies to reveal new scholarly understandings that would not be possible without those technologies. This session will provide an overview of the newest and latest technologies that KSL and the Freedman Center offers to help your research have a greater impact during the tenure process. We will help you learn ways to organize, present and preserve your scholarship and research data using emerging digital technologies.

  • Consultation services (e.g., organizing and creating useful databases, using GIS to enhance discovery and presentation)

  • Production services (e.g., digitization services)

  • Data Management (library assists with researcher as well as the requirements for data management and DMPs by sponsored research)
