Materials are on a first come, first served basis only and are subject to availability.  Holds cannot be placed on equipment.  Different loan periods may apply for other items. When you check items out, your library account will indicate the due date for each item.  

Length of check-out: 2 nights. No renewals.

Returns: Equipment must be returned directly to Service Center staff persons for processing.   Borrowing is not available for this item again until the following business day.

What to know: Great alternative to our rentable large projectors--there is no charge to borrow a mini projector. Great for small group work, acts like a larger PC monitor.

Using the AAXA Pico (Mini) Projector

You will get

  • AAXA Pico Projector
  • VGA Cable
  • Power Adapter

Getting Started

Turning projector on and off

 

1.) Press Power and hold for approximately 3-4 seconds. This action will also shut off the projector.

  • Red LED = charging
  • Green LED = fully charged

Note: When fully charged, the projector can be used for up to 4 hours.

To charge or power during use

1.) Connect the Power Adapter to the projector.

2.) Connect the Power Adapter into power source.

Using the mini projector to display images

1.) Plug the VGA Cable into the side of the mini-projector.

2.) Plug VGA Cable into computer outlet.

 

3.) Select VGA symbol on the projected screen. Use the arrow buttons located on the mini projector to nagivate main menu screen and press "OK" to select VGA symbol. 

 

Enabling VGA output

This process will vary depending on your computer. 

4.) Press "F5" on your keyboard to enable the computer to use multiple displays 

OR 

Press "Windows" + "P" to toggle through the different display options 

Adjusting the focus

1.) Spin the focus wheel to the left or right until image becomes clear.
