  1. Rotate the diopter counterclockwise until it comes to a stop

  2. Next, turn on the device

  3. Look through the eyepiece to view internal LCD display

  4. While looking through eyepiece, begin to slowly turn the diopter until the object in the distance becomes clear

Selecting Display Unit

Measurement in yards is the default setting. You may choose to measure distance in meters by holding down the Mode button for approximately 2 seconds. The display will change from YD to M. If you wish to switch back to yard measurement, repeat holding down the Mode button for 2 seconds.

Note: To ensure the setting has changed, you must look into the rangefinder’s eyepiece as the switch is indicated only on the inner display.

Measuring

  1. Make sure the device is turned on

  2. Aim at the target

  3. Press Power button once to begin measurement. Keeping the button depressed enables continuous measurement up to approximately 8 seconds

  4. During the process of measurement, the internal display will blink. When it stops, the measurement is finished

  5. Results are displayed for 8 seconds, then the device will turn off

Distance Display

This device uses the Distant Target Priority System.

If you find that there are different results from a single instance of measuring, the rangefinder will always display the object that is the farthest distance away.
