Opening the Software and Your File

  • Much like any other conversion, this one will be done using TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6. If you need assistance finding a station that has this software, feel free to ask a staff member!
  • Make sure that your .mp3 file that you desire to convert is in an easily accessible place on the computer. Open up TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6 located in the Video Folder

  • Select Start New Project - Normal Mode, then click on From Files and open your file into the program.

Formatting Your File

  • After selecting the file that you wish to convert, you will be brought to a screen that looks like this:

  • Click OK to continue.
  • Following the above screen, click on the Format Tab (which can be seen in the last picture in this segment). You should now be at a page that asks you for the desired output format for your file. From here, select WAVE File Output, and then click on select.

  • Now finalize the options for your Output. Make sure that regions 1 &2 match as shown below. Once you are done, click on the Encode button at the top of the screen.
