The Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship is located on the first floor of KSL. It provides access to advanced technology, including computers and research software, to support research, teaching, and learning. The Freedman Center is:

The lab features workstations with high end Windows computers, scanning and digitization equipment, and A/V capture equipment. Computers are accessible by signing in with your CWRU network ID, and you can work as long as you need on your projects. Be sure to bring an external hard drive or use cloud storage, since computers are wiped regularly.

The FC lab is available self-service when KSL is open for those with a CWRU network ID. Community patrons can access the lab when KSL is open to them. Lab staff are available during select hours for walk-ins and real-time assistance with hardware and software. To get help during staffed lab times:
