Grabbing Items, Citations and full text PDFs for your Zotero Collections

See the many ways that Zotero can grab citations and information from catalogs, databbases, and websites.  Zotero can also grab article abstract summaries, and full text PDF copies of articles (*if avaiable through Case Libraries collections)!

Add A Book Citation

For the Case Libraries catalog, or most any other online library catalog, Zotero recognizes citations in catalog records, and provides an icon to click so you can instantly add it to your Zotero collection.  Clicking the blue book icon, as shown below, grabs the citation for this book.

Add an Article Citation

In most article index databases, Zotoro will recognize a record for an article, and provide a paper sheet icon to click and grab the citation.

Add Multiple Citations from Zotero Lists

With Zotero you can also grab citations from search result lists in databases and catalogs.  From a search result list, look for the golden folder in the URL address box.  When clicked, you'll see a list of citations that you can grab from the results on that page.  You can choose individual citations, or select the whole list, and click to add them to your library.
