Day of CMA Collage Contest

To celebrate the Cleveland Museum of Art releasing much of their digital collection into the public domain we are inviting people to create collages using images from their open access collection.  Browse the collection, find a few that pique your interest, and create your own digital artwork! Prizes totaling $3,000 will be distributed to the top entries.

All Case Western Reserve University undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff, as well as students from the Cleveland Institute of Music are eligible to participate. Cleveland Institute of Art students with an active CWRU network ID are also eligible to participate.

General Guidelines

All sources images must be from the Cleveland Museum of Art Open Access Collection

No other image sources (including original) can be used in the collage.

Artists may submit a maximum of 3 collages.
