The CWRU Libraries have implemented OpenAthens as a new authentication method for library resources.
Access to most library resources will now be routed through CWRU Single Sign-On (SSO). VPN is still required for remote access to some library resources.
Visit the CWRU Libraries Search & Authentication Research Guide for more information.

Introduction

Kelvin Smith Library and the Case Alumni Association currently collaborate to fund a offering of online resources for your personal lifelong learning. As a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, you have access to valuable library services and databases. All you have to do is apply!

Do you still need to get a CWRU ID and password? Call Information Technology Services (ITS) and just ask for your Network ID to access the campus Single Sign-On. You can reach ITS 24x7 at 216.368.HELP (4357).

Databases Offered

Online Databases

Licensing restrictions do not allow alumni access to all of the Case online resources that are available to current students, the KSL Alumni Online library provides access to selected research databases covering a wide variety of subjects.

The resources below can be assessed using your Case Network ID.

Research Services Librarians

You can contact a librarian by phone, email, chat, or in-person to assist in all your needs. See our Ask A Librarian services page.
