Misfeeds

1. Open the scanner lid and pull out the papers.

2. Confirm any debris are cleaned from the rollers and snap the lid back into place.

***Failure to snap the lid shut will result in additional misfeeds.

3. Replace your documents into the scanner and initiate the scan. Your document should start feeding through normally.

4. Additionally, if your papers fail to be caught by the scanner because of the quality of the paper (turned or ripped corners), flip the papers around 180°.

Scanner Not Recognized

The Scanner may be asleep, and could cause errors when attempting to scan like shown above.

To prevent these outcomes, wake up the scanner beforehand by pressing the indicated button on the right of the scanner. The light directly next to this button will be orange when asleep, and once on, will be green. If the computer's volume is on, you may even hear a ding-a-ling when the computer recognizes the scanner.
