Scores by Berlioz which may be viewed and played back online. The collection comprises all known orchestral and instrumental works by Berlioz, with the exception of his 1845 orchestration of Leopold de Meyer’s Marche marocaine (a summary history of this page is provided elsewhere on this site). The collection includes the whole of the Symphonie Fantastique, Harold en Italie, and the Symphonie Funèbre et Triomphale, all the orchestral movements from Roméo et Juliette, all the 8 overtures, a number of orchestral excerpts from choral works and operas, and various free-standing orchestral and instrumental pieces, some of them rarities – in all more than 2000 pages in full score, and over 7 hours of playing time. Files were created with Sibelius.

Includes over 400 first and early printed editions of musical compositions by Frédéric Chopin, maintained in the Special Collections Research Center. Because Chopin's works were often published concurrently in several countries with variant texts, scholars can establish a sequence of publication by comparing a range of printings.

Users can search or browse Chopin Early Editions via a variety of data points, including titles, genres, and plate numbers.

The online Aaron Copland Collection comprises approximately one thousand items selected from Copland's music sketches, correspondence, writings, and photographs. The items are represented in about five thousand digitized images, the earliest an 1899 photograph and the latest a 1986 letter. While the original collection contains almost all Copland's music manuscripts and printed scores, the online collection presents the original music sketches that Copland used in composing thirty-one works spanning the years 1924 to 1967 and covering every medium in which he composed: orchestral, ballet, opera, film, chamber, solo piano, and vocal music.

The career of Irving Fine (1914-1962), composer, conductor, writer, and academic, is documented in the Library of Congress Music Division by approximately 4,350 items from the Irving Fine Collection. Comprising manuscript and printed music, sketchbooks, writings, personal and business correspondence, scrapbooks, programs, clippings, and sound recordings, the collection contains most of the creative work of this colleague of Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein.
