Welcome to Kelvin Smith Library

Kelvin Smith Library (KSL) is the main library supporting the teaching and research of Case Western Reserve University with emphasis given to the College of Arts and Sciences, the Case School of Engineering and the Weatherhead School of Management. We are located between Thwing Student Center and Severance Hall.

Install Case Virtual Private Network (VPN) Client Software on your computer to have off-campus access to library electronic resources.
Get familiar with accessing your library account
View and renew items checked out by accessing your library account. You can login to your library account with your Case network ID/password.
Create an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) account
Use ILL to request at no cost for you items not available at Case or through OhioLINK. This account is different from your library account.

Collaboration rooms are spaces available for group work. Each room is equipped with a 42 inch wall monitor with Hi-Def and VGA connections and comfortable furniture.
