Find Books

In general, the print book collections at Kulas reflect music degree programs at CWRU, including the history of music, musicology, historical, performance practice, music education, and popular music.

We have a variety of primary source materials, such as facsimiles (Der Generalbass in der Komposition), modern editions, (Thorough-bass accompaniment according to Johann David Heinichen), or secondary literature which adds to our understanding of these (18th century continuo playing : a historical guide to the basics)

We also offer ebooks, including volumes in series such as the Cambridge Musical Handbooks or items made available via OhioLINK (Music learning today : digital pedagogy for creating, performing, and responding to music).

Students of popular music may want to consider visiting the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Library and Archives, a special library in downtown Cleveland. CWRU students can access its materials onsite.
