Music Library Resources at CWRU: Introduction

You'll find music resources in several places at CWRU:

The Kulas Music Collection, located on the first floor of Kelvin Smith Library (KSL)
KSL online resources (journals, books, reference works, literature indexes, audio)
Collections of OhioLINK libraries, of which KSL is a member

Kulas content is available to all members of the CWRU community.
It reflects music degree programs at CWRU and faculty research interests:
music history, musicology, historical performance practice, music education, and popular music.

You can borrow books on music, CDs, DVDs, and musical scores according to KSL's borrowing policies.

As a CWRU student, you have access to items from academic libraries across Ohio.

The Robinson Music Library at CIM
Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) have a long established joint music program, and CIM's Robinson Music Library is an additional resource. However, it is available only to MFA students in dance and CWRU music majors, as well as music and dance faculty. Other CWRU users should rely on Kulas and OhioLINK.
