An IT Standard is a rule, principal, technique, process or template that is designed to provide consistency to the planning, development, operation and governance of information technology services.
A software standard is a standard, protocol, or other common format of a document, file, or data transfer accepted and used by one or more software developers while working on one or more than one computer programs. Software standards enable interoperability between different programs created by different developers.(Wikipedia)
KSL's goal is to offer access to standards from a variety of publishers to the whole campus community. That is why we have a mix of resources and tools available:
Full text access to active ASTM standards and related material from ASTM journals, symposia papers and STPs, manuals, monographs and data series.
Note: Beginning in 2024, ISO standards are available via ASTM Compass.
