As of February 2021, the most well-funded tech startup in the United States was JUUL Labs. JUUL Labs is an e-cigarette company based in California, with over 15 billion U.S. dollars in disclosed equity funding as of February 2021. This was followed by Epic Games in North Carolina, with about 3.4 billion U.S. dollars of equity funding received. The top three is completed by Magic Leap in Florida. This tech company had received just under three billion U.S. dollars in equity funding.
